We hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend ahead, however you like to spend it.

As with our members called Dave, we have a running joke in Commons about how we have five - at the last count - members called Emma. So, we thought it would be fun for them to do a joint video endorsement for Emma Battell Lowman as UCU Vice President. In the short video above, we introduce you to two more Emmas: Emma Rees, who is branch secretary at the University of Chester UCU, and Emma Kennedy, who works at the University of Greenwich. Both Emmas tell you about their enthusiastic support for Emma for VP. We’ve been very excited about this one!

The end of the campaign is very near now, but there’s still time for some more endorsements for Emma. If you’re called Emma (or anything else for that matter!) and want to write an endorsement for Emma, drop us a line at ucucommons@gmail.com and we’ll get it online over the weekend.

Today (Saturday) and Monday are the last days for you to get your ballots in the post. Please use a first-class stamp if you are yet to post yours.
