We’re entering the final stretch of the NEC and national officer elections. This means that if you haven’t already done so, you have a matter of days to get your ballot paper in the post. Even amid the suspension of strike action and the launch of the re-ballot campaign, the NEC and officer elections are vitally important. That’s why our candidate for Vice President, Emma Battell Lowman, has recorded a special Get The Vote Out video message.
So, now is the time to post your ballot paper. Friday is the last safe posting day, but if you can only post it as late as Monday, use a first-class stamp to make absolutely sure your ballot paper arrives at Civica in time to be counted. The ballot closes on Wednesday 1st March.
This is also your chance for a final round of pushing your colleagues, friends and contacts to vote. Knock on their office door, send a text or a Whatsapp message, or drop them an email. Remind them how important these elections are.
