Today is a strike day Valentine’s Day, and we’re as ready as the next pickets for placards complete with smooshy song lyrics repurposed for trade union solidarity (‘I Will Always Love UCU’, anyone?). We also think this is a fitting opportunity to think about what trade unionism has to do with love, care and the nurturing of relationships. Who better for a Valentine’s Day campaign special than Emma Battell Lowman (again)? It’s Part 2 of our Emma Battell Lowman special, and she’s got us feeling all warm and fuzzy.
